HOW TO APPLY AS A MENTEE OR MENTOR FOR THE IFPN MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
Application Process
1. Eligibility Criteria
- For Mentees:
- Must be a registered member of IFPN.
- Should have a minimum educational qualification or experience in financial crime prevention, KYC, AML, or related fields.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
- For Mentors:
- Must be a registered member of IFPN with substantial experience (typically 5+ years) in financial crime prevention or a related area.
- Should possess strong leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to supporting and developing emerging professionals in the industry.
2. Application Steps
- Online Application:
- Visit the IFPN website and navigate to the Mentorship Programme section.
- Complete the online application form for either mentees or mentors, providing necessary information such as professional background, areas of expertise, and goals for the mentorship relationship.
- Submission:
- Submit the completed application form by the designated deadline. Ensure all required documents (e.g. CV, cover letter) are included.
3. Matching Process
- After the application deadline, the programme coordinators will review submissions and match mentees with suitable mentors based on shared interests, expertise, and goals.
4. Notification
- Applicants will be notified via email regarding their acceptance into the programme and their assigned mentor or mentee.
5. Orientation Session
- Both mentors and mentees will be invited to an orientation session to understand the programme structure, expectations, and guidelines
